MY WORK LIFE:
Associate Director Technology Development
My work allows me to combine the foundation of ACCOMPLISHING GOALS and the interests of TECHNOLOGY and BUSINESS.
DAY IN AND DAY OUT
A great day for me is when a project faces a technical challenge and by bringing the right people together to work collaboratively and creatively, we solve the problem and keep moving forward. I love knowing that by being proactive and engaging a great team, we can solve problems quickly.
Most projects are set up for success by proactive planning, scheduling and follow up, but surprises always happen.
SKILLS, TRAINING, OR EXPERIENCE NEEDED
Not being intimidated by things you don't know. Educating yourself even when it means asking lots of questions. Being curious to continually learn. Project management involves a lot of communication and pro-active follow up. You have to be comfortable contacting people you don't know.
