MY WORK LIFE:

Educator in a STEM learning community

foundation interest 1 interest 2

My work allows me to combine the foundation of TEACHING / MENTORING and the interests of EDUCATION and TECHNOLOGY.

DAY IN AND DAY OUT

We start the day with programming and learning appropriate algorithms to solve problems. We problem solve and get answers through the day. We collaborate a lot within groups and in different classes for specific projects. In other classes students are engineers and find new ways to redo projects and build more accessible items for a wider audience.

SKILLS, TRAINING, OR EXPERIENCE NEEDED

You have to be willing to learn and let someone else teach you something new everyday; you have to use new forms of social media to find other people to collaborate with; you should have some professional training in teaching and content delivery.
